If you’re one of those brave souls who still ventures here, within a month or so there won’t be anything to see. But, thanks to this handy post, you’ll know where to find us. We hope you’ll join your intrepid explorers on our next great adventure.
About Wicasta
Depending upon whom you ask, Wicasta Lovelace is an author, musician, artist, web designer and/or delusional lunatic (which one he is at any given moment depends upon the day of the week, really). You can find him on Google+, Twitter and Facebook. Wicasta is working on several novels and recording music. He is the principle editor of the Malleus Maleficarum project, lead author at PaganCentric, curator at Mama Peggy, and systems engineer at Floozees Doozees.Author Archive | Wicasta

A Band Called Wicasta
We’re getting the our oars back into the water in a big way, and we have projects lined up which will keep us busy for the next couple of years. So, for better or worse, we are now a band called Wicasta.

Ways to Move Forward
Victoria and I have both been wondering ways for us to move forward. Obviously, Windhaven is not currently doing anything. We haven’t for some time. It’s questionable whether we ever will again. At least as Windhaven.

Set Sail or Burn the Ship?
We’re still figuring out where we’re going to go with Windhaven this year. It’s admittedly possible that we’re done. We just don’t know. But if we are to end it, we’re going put it to bed only after a long, thoughtful, and detailed, examination.

Looking At 2016
Well, here we are. Another year. Here’s to looking at 2016 with something akin to intent. Or at least mischief (we do aim to misbehave). No, we’re not going to make any grand promises. After all, we posted to this web site once in all of last year. Yeah, it was that kind of year.

Tired In 2015
Yeah. We’re going to have to admit to being tired in 2015. We started with the best of intentions, but it just didn’t work out. At this point, this is all about posting something. It’s March and we haven’t posted a single thing in 2015. Honestly, life has gotten in the way.

Live Music Wheel
We’ve seen this video of the Live Music Wheel all over Facebook lately, and were awed by the creativity involved in it. But really, if you think about it, this is a perfect metaphor for the music industry today.

A Gig In The Fifth Circle of Hell
Winter seemed benign enough at first. A beautiful young woman in the full flush of youth. Thin but not skinny. Her skin was light and flawless. Her blonde hair was so light that it looked almost white in the bright sun, dancing around her face on soft breezes as if angels worshipped her and played […]

I See Fire
I knew the moment I heard Victoria singing “I See Fire” in the shower that we were going to be doing our own version of this song. When we first heard Ed Sheeran’s amazing song at the end of “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug”, both of us thought “that’s too contemporary for Tolkien”. But […]

New Windhaven Newsletter
We’re moving away from our FeedBurner update thingie into a full-blown newsletter system based on our web site. There are a couple of reasons for doing this. For one thing, we don’t think FeedBurner works very well anymore.
